Formed in 2013, the Media Innovation Studio brings together an interdisciplinary team of researchers and innovators. Based in the School of Arts and Media and School of Psychology and Computer Science at the University of Central Lancashire, the research group spans media researchers, interaction designers and innovators from across the university.
Our work is centred on understanding media through human-centred approaches to create impactful research and innovation. This impact ranges across embedded learning and knowledge, prototyped technologies, quantitative data, policy recommendations, new systems, process and commercial activity.
