The Media Innovation Studio was transformed into a careers networking event this week as UCLan’s School of Journalism and Digital Communication held its My Career, Your Career day.
Providing a diverse mix of alumni, including ITV news editor Richard Frediani, Channel 5 chief correspondent Tessa Chapman and BBC 5Live 606 producer Sarah Collins, the day allowed current students to speak with professionals from across the industry.
Debbie Robinson, UCLan senior lecturer in Broadcast Journalism, and organiser of the event, said: “We are so lucky that we can call on such a wide range of talented alumni and we’re really grateful that they could give up their precious time to talk to the students.”
